K-Rahn

In recent years, very few artists have been able to successfully produce commercially marketable music that contains positive messages. K-Rahn stands amongst this chosen few. A native of Pasadena, California, this Urban Spiritual rapper (as he refers to himself) was raised to both honor GOD and appreciate his cultural heritage. He is a MC of great uniqueness. With a main objective to produce high quality, competitive music that positively impacts the lives of today’s urban community, his lyrics are unquestionably comparable with many hip-hop greats. K-Rahn, 29, labels his music as Urban Spiritual Hip Hop, a genre that he says, “uniquely blends spiritually and socially themed lyrics with a commercially driven sound.”

He is owner of the independent record label CORNERBACK RECORDS, a label whose motto is: Intercepting the Blocks, Taking the Corners Back. K-Rahn has performed live with high caliber artists such as Erykah Badu and Dead Prez and is currently working on his debut album "Give It How I Live It," teaming up with seasoned producers such as Binky Mack (Westside Connection) and Young Trey (Westside Connection). His latest single “Everyday Life” focuses heavily on the idea that religious communities should be helping the next man better him/herself instead of condemning him/her.

Continuing to carve a path of his own, K-Rahn sees very little separation between spiritual and social matters. He is destined to be a dominating voice of hip-hop music.
